Fantasy football, the best strikers to buy at Mantra

With the break of the championship it is time to draw a first balance of the fantasy football season. So let’s see which are the top 10 center points and the best 10 second points in the Fantacalcio Mantra

Osimhen (Napoli)

Victor Osimhen (NAPOLI)

Aside from the naive sending off he got during the match against Venice the Nigerian striker is confirming for good what we saw in the second part of last season. His speed and physical strength make him a difficult player to mark for the opposing defenses. The only contraindications to his purchase concern a marked “tendency to the card” but above all his departure for the Africa Cup, which will keep him away from the fields of Serie A for about 1 month

Ciro Immobile (LAZIO)

He was probably the highest-paid player in early auctions. Despite the fluctuating trend of Lazio, we can’t say that so far he has disappointed expectations. Six goals, two assists, and an incredible fantasy average of 9.58. He is the main entitled for the victory of the league’s top goalscorer both for his undoubted qualities as an “inhaler” for the Sarri’s game that historically enhances the centre forwards (see Higuain).

Lautaro Martinez (INTER)

He did not suffer much from the departure of Lukaku, immediately developing an excellent game understanding with Edin Dzeko. Fast and smart forward can improve the score of last season reaching out around 20 goals, thanks to his new status as the main penalty taker. His “Fumantino” character leads him to take a few yellow cards too.

Edin Dzeko (INTER)

If there was little doubt about his adaptation to the new Nerazzurri game reality from a fantasy football point of view, the Bosnian has so far provided a performance above the expectations, considering that in the last 4 seasons he has never gone beyond the 16 goals. Due to his age he could be subjected to turnover especially in the weeks with close commitments but at this start of the season he was decisive both as a regular and as a “subentrato”. He is “re-born”.

Duvan Zapata (ATALANTA)

Although Atalanta in the offensive phase had a start of the season a bit slow, under the constant management of Gasperini, the Colombian Panther is proving the usual certainty getting bonuses in 4 of the 5 games played so far. With the return of Muriel probably on some occasions he will sit down on the bench but he has shown that he really knows how to break the games as a “subentrato”. He is destined to grow, as his team is too, in the second half of the season.

Dusan Vlahovic (FIORENTINA)

Despite the excellent start of the Italian team, the Serbian center forward is having slightly lower performance than the high expectations of the start of the season with 1 goal per ball in play achieved in 7 matches. He is however confirmed as an infallible sniper from the penalty shootouts scoring all 3 penalties kicked and remains the main offensive terminal of a team that plays a proactive game. However, the events related to the non-renewal of the contract could have a heavy impact on his fantastic performance, especially in the second part of the season. It is not to be excluded in fact his departure in the middle of the season.

Luis Muriel (ATALANTA)

He’s just back from the most prolific year of his career, which made him one of the most attractive forwards at the start, but after the usual goal in the opening game he was hit by a muscle injury. Once recovered in the best condition he will return to be a top of the class, especially against the medium-small teams. To evaluate instead his usage in big matches, in which he often struggled to express his qualities.

Tammy Abraham (ROMA)

The young English center forward is not making regret Dzeko integrating immediately into Mourinho’s schemes. Despite the important physical size is a player anything but static and equipped with remarkable ballistic qualities. On his meager scoring performace, stopped at 2 goals, he had an important impact the misfortune that led him to hit the “woods” 3 times. He has every chance to close the season with a score between 15 and 20 goals.

Marko Arnautovic (BOLOGNA)

It is the center forward that Mihajlovic has missed so much in recent years. His starting position, both in a single-forward module and in the new 3-4-1-2 of the rossoblu coach, is not arguable. Mobile player, able to vary across the attack front, as well as “rigorista” of the team, with no physical problems he should overcome without problems double-digit goals in his annual score.

Mattia Destro (GENOA)

From an outcast about to move to La Spezia to indispensable: this is the strange “parable” of Mattia Destro, one of the few happy notes of the tormented start of the season of the Griffin and, among the general amazement, the player with the best fantasy football average in the whole Serie A. Continuity he has never been his strength and the “feeling” with Caicedo, now close to re-entering, is all to be verified but has regained confidence in his means and can safely close the season with around 15 goals.

Second striker(A)

After examining the top 10 center forwards we move on to the second strikers (A), seeing again what are the best choices in the role.

Domenico Berardi (SASSUOLO)

With 3 goals and 1 assist, he has participated in half of the goals scored by his team that is struggling more than expected. Given the offensive attitude of the men of Dionisi is not excluded however that he can confirm the excellent numbers of last season.

Joao Pedro (CAGLIARI)

Despite the bad start of Cagliari he has confirmed what we have seen in recent seasons, scoring 4 goals and 2 assists. With the arrival of Mazzarri he had a small drop, accomplice the most defensive attitude of the coach, but he is expected to recover in the coming weeks.

Lorenzo Insigne (NAPOLI)

Captain and technical leader of Napoli he will hardly repeat the numbers achieved last season but still remains a certainty in the role of A. Penalty taker and specialist of the place kicks, he has yet to find his first goal of the season with ball in play. Nevertheless, the average rating is as a top level. The contractual vicissitudes could undermine its performance, especially in the second part of the season.

Paulo Dybala (JUVENTUS)

After a difficult year he is ready to redeem himself, physical problems permitting. With the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in fact he has returned to be at the center of the Bianconeri technical project as well as the main performer of the set pieces.

Leao (Milan)

Rafael Leao (MILAN)

For the Portuguese the season of definitive consecration seems to have finally arrived. Fast and unpredictable is one of the main architects of the excellent start of Milan. He seems to have won the ballot with Rebic, forced to adapt to the role of center forward to cope with the chronic absences of Ibrahimovic and Giroud.

Hirving Lozano (NAPOLI)

In a perennial run-off with Politano he has shown that he can leave his mark both as a regular and as a “subentrato”.

Federico Chiesa (JUVENTUS)

In the last year and a half, he has made an important leap in quality. Fast and unpredictable, he can find the decisive play even in days seemingly not very bright. In the Mantra he can also be used as W, if he should improve his numbers in terms of goals he would become a fantasy football crack.

Chiesa (Juventus)
Chiesa (Juventus)

Henrik Mkhitaryan (ROMA)

Just as Chiesa he is particularly attractive for his ductility in fantacalcio, which leads him to be used both as A and as T. Compared to the management of Fonseca he plays in a more decentralized position but still comes to shot to the goal area with good frequency. He can therefore also end in double figures this year both in goals and assists

Ante Rebic (MILAN)

As a second or center forward, the Croatian again this year seems destined to have a lot of space in the Rossoneri attack. In previous years he has always been strong growing in the second half of the season.

Musa Barrow (BOLOGNA)

A player with undoubted qualities that has always struggled to express with continuity. However, he could be the main beneficiary of the change of formation of Bologna that brings him to play closer to the door next to the main striker like Arnautovic.
